Lisa Michaux

Lisa Dickinson Michaux is a Minnesota girl who loves all things Paris.

She has a PhD in art history and was a curator at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts for 20 years with a specialty in 19th-century French works on paper. Now she is an art consultant and dealer, but prefers to think of herself as a “finder of treasures.”

Lisa loves to escape to her apartment in Paris’s 7th arrondissement to shop for her clients. She can be found sitting on her balcony and gazing at the Eiffel Tower, wandering the streets of Paris, visiting museums and galleries, or sampling the amazing restaurants in the city. She tries to spend a month each year in Paris taking an intensive French language program, however she’s not certain she will ever master her verb conjugations.
