Target - Holiday Decorating Ideas
by Cindi Sutter, Founder of The Spirited Table®
Holiday decorations should be as simple as they are stylish. This season, we’re really into the idea of holiday-themed wall art (and so are the crafting blogs).
The coolest examples of holiday-themed artwork we’ve seen take inspiration from antique signage and traditional collage art, playing with the power of typography to tell a story and kindle happy memories.
Target recently collaborated with type designer Danielle Evans of Marmalade Bleue to create a festive collection of shareable art for your viewing pleasure on Pinterest. Designed to bring out the kid in all of us, the 15 designs incorporate classic bits of the holidays – wrapping paper, frosting, sprinkles – to make a variety of whimsical statements.
Download our favorites below, print, frame (we recommend a 5×7 inch frame) and let the decking of halls begin!
A note for those with limited wall space: You don’t have to put these away come January. Just swap the holiday artwork for family photos, kids’ drawings and school awards.
