Day 28 & 29 - Touring For A Cure

DAY 29 GEORGETOWN, SC TO YEMASSEE, SC
The rain disappeared but it turned into heat. We left from Andrews, South Carolina. It was a good day with flat terrain and a cool National Forest. We attempted a full 120 mile day, but because of a heat index of 104 for a good portion of the day, we decided to cut the ride short in order to maintain our health for the remaining days of the tour. We still rode a majority of the miles and are ready for a great day tomorrow!
DAY 28 SHALLOTTE, NC TO GEORGETOWN, SC
A grand day that started by getting on the ole cycles at 8 a.m. We decided to go a little off course today and see Myrtle Beach. It rained a little bit but not too much. After a little break in the middle of the ride we finished the 100 miles arriving in Georgetown, South Carolina at 6:30 p.m. Finally for dinner we went to Seven Hundred Modern Grill + Bar for a great dinner with an awesome owner & staff! We only have 8 more days left and it's crazy to think we only have half of SC, Georgia and Florida left!
