Bourbon Glazed Turkey

When we think of Thanksgiving, we think tradition. When we daydream about the food, we have particular images and scents ingrained in our minds. This day is filled with culture and customs and experiences passed down from year to year, but why not change it up? This year, we encourage you to put a fun twist on your typical holiday dishes.
Ingredients
1 cup bourbon
1 cup honey
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 ½ cups light brown sugar
5 Tbsp paprika
5 Tbsp mustard
3 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 stick butter
2 Tbsp onion powder
Salt and pepper as needed
Instructions
- Mix bourbon, honey, vinegar, and 1 cup brown sugar in bowl
- In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients/spices with butter and coat turkey with rub.
- Roast turkey in oven, coating with bourbon (liquid) mixture every 15 minutes.
