Chocolate Heart Cookies

Ingredients
1-1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 egg
3 cups flour, sifted
1/2 cup cocoa, sifted
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Cream butter and powdered sugar
- Blend in egg and mix well
- Stir together flour, cocoa, and salt and add to butter mixture, mixing well
- Chill dough 1-2 hours
- Roll out dough to 1/4-1/8” thick and cut out with heart shapes
- Place on un-greased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 400° oven
- Cool and drizzle chocolate over or frost completely
Drizzle: Use 2-3 Tbsp melted bittersweet or white chocolate or both
