Heritage Bread Festival!
Support healthy foods + local farmers at Mill City Farmers Market!
If you've ever been curious about how to bake your own bread to make it healthier, tastier, and more digestible than store bought, this Saturday is for you! Everyone is welcome to participate in our first Heritage Bread Festival with Sunrise Flour Mill! This event offers an opportunity for bread enthusiasts, people who want to start baking, and professional bakers to improve their baking skills, share ideas, network within the artisan bread community, and enjoy good bread together. Learn about the benefits of heritage wheat, different types of leavening, mixing and kneading.
Bring your favorite home-baked loaf to share and learn from the pros.
This event begins at 9 AM in our Mill City Cooks kitchen demo area inside the train shed.
On Saturday, you can also look forward to an exciting assortment of produce and fresh, local foods, including the season's first pumpkins, and, in the words of farmer Jeff Nistler, they are "the most amazing ever."
Check out who's in on our Vendor Map!
See you at the Market - don't forget your grocery list!
