Winter months can be tough. Sometimes you just want to stay home and bake or make a pot of soup. And sometimes, you just want to relax with a drink.

Proving once again that celebrities are just like us, we caught up with some fabulous women who — turns out — are doing the same thing.

Dolly Parton

During COVID, many of us have taken up baking, but none of us have likely ever dreamed of making a Dolly Parton cake. It’s now possible because Dolly Parton has announced a partnership with Duncan Hines. The queen of country music announced the partnership on Instagram, along with her favorite flavors: Coconut and Banana Puddin’. The music legend shared the announcement on Instagram, saying:

“I couldn’t wait to share this sweet surprise!@realduncanhines and I are whipping up some Southern love with my limited-edition Baking Collection kits with my favorite flavors, Coconut and Banana Puddin’. Can't wait for y'all to try it 🎂💛.” The $40 baking kit is sold out for now, but you can sign up to get notified when it’s back in stock.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker shared her love for the turkey sandwiches at the Village Sand Bar (64 Greenwich St., Manhattan). SJP is simply lyrical about the place. She says:

“The aroma of their fresh roasting turkey has been dragging people off the streets of the West Village and into @thevillagesandbar since 1983. I’m one of those people. And if you live nearby, you probably are as well! I don’t think there is a better turkey sandwich to be found in NYC. I find every excuse to make my way there. It’s just round the corner for me but folks travel from near and far. A delectable menu awaits. Tell Manny I sent you.”

Drew Barrymore

If you’re trying to thaw out from the freezing winter temperatures, why not try Drew Barrymore’s vegetable soup? The actress-turned-talk show host posted the recipe over the weekend on Instagram:

✨Recipe✨

- Sweat 3 large leeks up to the white part

(For 5 minutes in 2 tablespoons of olive oil)

-Add 2 zucchini

-Small bunch Carrots

-5 tiny waxy Potatoes

Cool down another 3 minutes

-Add 6 cups of veggie stock

-2 tablespoons tomato paste

(Optional 1 tablespoons of Harrisa paste if desired for smoke and spice)

-1 can of chickpeas and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes partly covered

-Then blend gently do not purée as you want to have a little texture and keep some veggies intact!

Serve with cracked black pepper and crusty French bread.

Martha Stewart

Martha’s in the mood for love. The Domestic Diva is getting ready for Valentine’s Day with a homemade truffle recipe that you can find here

Kate Hudson

Finally, Kate Hudson reminds us that whenever you’re having a rough week, vodka is always there for you — especially her own, King St. Vodka.
