We’d have to believe a millennial Carrie Bradshaw couldn’t turn down the Claw—it’s now a staple at NYC bars and rooftop parties. I couldn’t help but wonder: what would the rest of the girls think of this seltzer-y variation? 

MAKES 2 DRINKS
Ingredients

2 ounces vodka

2 ounces cranberry juice

1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec

1 (12-ounce) can lime hard seltzer 

lime wedges or peel, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

✦ Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, cranberry juice, and Cointreau or triple sec to the shaker. Shake until chilled.

✦ Strain into two (ideally chilled) glasses.

✦ Top each glass with half a can (6 ounces) of seltzer. Garnish with the lime wedges or peel

If you want to go with the classic martini-shaped glass (aka a cocktail glass), make sure you’ve got oversized ones on hand. This seltzer variation will not fit in your cute Gatsby-esque coupes.
