Teri E. Popp
Teri E. Popp loves travel! While she hates to fly, she learned early on, as the child of an Air Force family, that the rewards of flight outweighed the fear involved every time she sets foot on a plane. From Asia to Europe to Africa to South America, as well as traversing the United States, Mexico and Canada, she's visited 64 countries to date. Teri has travelled extensively sponsoring hearing aide missions along with her husband, Bill, on behalf of the Starkey Foundation. Her bucket list includes checking off as many more as possible, be it by plane, train, bus, automobile, camel or elephant.
Teri, an attorney by training, spends the majority of her time serving in philanthropy and on various non-profit boards. She recently retired from the boards of Fairview Southdale Hospital, the Fairview Foundation, and Fraser. She has served on many educational, arts and health entities including: Hamline University, the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, Courage Center, KARE 11 Eleven Who Care, Girl Scouts, and the Minnesota Orchestra.
She and Bill realized a long-held dream in the summer of 2015 with the completion of The Minnesota Military Family Tribute (MFT)-a magnificent tribute built on the Minnesota State Capitol Mall in St. Paul in honor of all military family members.
