Beef Jerky

How pathetic is it, that it took me forever to find a real picture of beef jerky? Seriously?!?
Ingredients
Lean round steak - up to 10 lbs
Vinegar
Salt
Red pepper
Ketchup
Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°.
Cut lean meat into 1/4” strips. Boil up to 10lbs of meat in 2 quarts water, with 1/2 pint vinegar, 2 cups salt and 2 tablespoons red pepper. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove meat from water and squeeze dry.
Lay meat on heated oven rack for 1 1/2 hours at 200°.
Strips are done when they crack but don’t break.
Paint both sides of strips with a mixture of Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. The last two ingredients, add amounts according to your taste preferences and desired heat!
