Shifting weather patterns and eating patterns is how are bodies best vibe nutritionally. It’s meant to be that we eat with the seasons to create a diet full of diversity in nutrients and flavors.
This past week I put that shift into top speed as I headed down to the Florida Keys for some sunshine and fresh summertime eating.
The Keys combine a magical mix of Caribbean chill and Mainland energy. The food and drinks sync with that dichotomy as well. Nutritionally you can’t beat the health benefits of lean protein and omega-3 fatty acids from the local seafood. And beyond the famous key lime, the islands are full of fresh produce with vital micronutrients in abundance!
